    Description

    RAF Short Stirling Bomb Loading
This is a nice reproduction of an original World War Two photo showing a massive bomb being prepared for loading onto a RAF Short Stirling bomber.
This aircraft, N3725, went down near Stoke Ferry, Norfolk, on Sept. 14 1942 while returning from a raid on Wilhelmshaven, leading to the loss of 5 of the crew.  The aircraft had completed 31 missions with 223 hours of flying time.  Great photo!
Size of photo is about 4" x 6".
