Vintage Wool Fabric - Purple Fat Quarter

Description

I found a lovely piece of wool -- a deep regal purple with a a lightly texture weave.  It's very soft and will be dreamy to hook.  First picture gives the best indication of color.
Size: 17-1/2 x 27 inches.
Brand: Unknown.
Weight: 9 ounces per yard.
Condition: Unused, no signs of dirt or moth damage (you may smell camphor on this fabric; I hung it with some moth balls for a few days to make sure there. were no hidden winged beasties.)
Laundered: No.
Nelda's Fine Print: You are buying as I do: As Is, Where Found. While I'll let you know the difference between new wool versus secondhand finds from estates, please remember that with most of my listings for vintage or antique items you may detect the delectable aroma of "old."
I store my own hooking stash with cinnamon and cloves, so you might detect a spicy aroma, too. (Cloves are a wonderful moth deterrent, much nicer than camphor.) Depending on the estate find, I may or may not wash wool before listing.  If I have done so, I'll note that in the description. I cannot guarantee that the secondhand items I list come from smoke or pet free homes.  Color photographs may render differently on our various computer monitors; keep that in mind as you view listings for wool and yarn.
Payment is appreciated within 3 days of the close of sale, whether for Buy It Now or Auction listings. Buyer pays USPS rates. Returns are not accepted, so please write with questions.  I'm always happy to combine purchases to save on shipping costs, which have become as outrageous as the size of my wool stash. Simply place your selections in a shopping cart, then request an invoice.
