U.S. Marine Corps USMC Officer's Service Alpha Blouse - Named & Dated 1955

Description

This auction is for one original U.S. Marine Corps Officer's Service Alpha uniform blouse with belt. It is a high quality, private purchase from S.W. Rice. It is named to "A D Larson" and is dated 9/15/55.
It is in good used condition overall with staining of the lower lining and denting of some of the buttons, and the female snap on the belt is missing.
The top button is upside down. It doesn't appear to have be re-sewn or modified, and I have left it as-is.

The yardstick was used to demonstrate the following measurements, but the actual measurements were taken with a tape for better accuracy.
When lying flat, it measures approximately 25 1/2" from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve, approximately 16 1/4" across the chest when measured across the top of the pockets from sleeve seam to sleeve seam, approximately 17 1/4" across the waist when measured between the 1st and 2nd buttons from the bottom, and approximately 30 3/4" from the collar seam to the bottom of the blouse when measured down the back.
The overall length of the belt from the tip to the folded end measures approximately 39 1/2".
