This manual covers the Sleeve gun Mk. II (Information from several documents), Welrod Mk. II, Welrod Mk. IIA, Welrod Mk. IA, STEN gun silencer Mk. I & II and Notes on silenced weapons. Used by the Special Operations Executive SOE, The Office of Strategic Service, the resistance movements in occupied Europe and for example the SOE in Australia
, during W.W. II.
This is a copy of the very rare ORIGINAL documents found recently. Much new information are found in those documents as they are not copies from the rewritten Welrod documents found in the US
archives. The
US
navy made their own copy of the British Welrod, which originally was invented by Major Hugh Quentin Alleyne Reeves.
Everything has been done to make the quality of this copy as close to the original as possible. No cost or effort has been spared in my effort to complete it.
