This was the original 1918 version that still has the original green paint above the liner & repainted matte black with the sand finish added after 1940. Has the original leather liner & chin strap. Has a serial number stamped with the letter “A” inside on the green finish. No size stamp but about size 57-58. Outside finish in still great condition. Neat helmet for over 100 years old.
