    Description

    ~ OVER-DYED PRIMITIVE COLOR BUNDLES ~
    “R A V E N S W O O D”
    **
I dye Antique Blacks & Browns primarily for those who are looking for an
“aged appearance” to their Hooked Rug Backgrounds as well as for
Penny Rug Foundations & the dark Pennies themselves! **
    ( Rich & Dark,  Antique Brown-Black )
*A very rich, Dark Chocolate-Brown-Black that would make the most
stunning Background!  One of my favorite Blacks to use
    instead
    of plain Black
for my Penny Rugs…to give them more “life”!!!
Mixed-in with my "Milk Chocolate Bar" (also in my listings)....you would
get a perfect combination for Primitive Cabins, Horses, Moose, Bears &
Tree Trunks as well as interesting Backgrounds & Borders too!!*

    (in RED)
(if you have any questions contact me first!)
You’re purchasing 100% hand-dyed wool that I have over-dyed using the same color family over
    4 or more
different base pieces of wool in each bundle.
You will have usually ONE over-dyed solid which is nicely mottled and THREE or more complementary over-dyed textures in each Color Collection.  There are
    usually
    (8 total bundles) from
    EACH
dye bath at a time, occasionally there will be more.
    My
    Prim Color Collections
    contain
4 to 6 pieces from the same dye bath
, but are dyed over different base colored solids & base colored textures giving you variations in the final color results.  The formulas I create will change with the seasons and will include a wide choice of shades from lights to mediums to dark & rich.  I only use new, 100% wool from some of the finest overseas wool suppliers in the wool mill industry.  These wools are suitable for primitive & traditional rug hooking as well as wool appliqué work.
The wool is measured PRIOR to washing, giving you a full fat quarter yard to work with.  The wool is felted and ready for you to use.  Each piece measures approximately 6” to 7" wide x 16” to 18" long and there are
4 to 6 pieces in each bundle
totaling one Fat 1/4 to 3/8 yard.
    *NOTE:
    I do “COMBINE SHIPPING”
    for items (
    put in the eBay Cart
    ) and
    paid on one invoice
    with one payment
; each additional item will receive my ‘multiple item shipping’ discount unless otherwise noted in my listing!
I now add Ship-Saver insurance to all my domestic & international packages.
If a package is lost in transit & not received,
please let me know right away
.  I cannot guarantee I can replace your entire order, but will do the best I can.  If I cannot replace the full order, I will reimburse for the difference.
    WOOL CUTTING POLICY:
If you are new to rug hooking and have no other resources available, I’d be happy to cut your wool into strips on your FIRST ORDER, a
    maximum
of (4 bundles or 1 yard equivalent).  However, it’s just myself & husband who run this business… and I would be most appreciative if you would seek out your local resources for cutting (i.e. ~ friend, neighbor, guild or shop) and
use me as your last resort
so I may have the time to dye more wonderful shades of wool for your future projects!
I can cut your wool into #6 (6/32”), #8 (1/4”), or #9 (3/8”) cut strips.   Please notify me
    at the time of payment
if you’ll need your wool cut & which size you would like & allow
    several additional days
    for my extra work.
    Do N
    ote
    :
once your wool has been pre-cut into wool strips & shipped to you, it is
no longer eligible for exchange or refund
    !
    Also,
    future orders
    will need to be charged
    {.50 per Fat 1/4 yard bundle or yardage equivalent}
to offset my time, as well as maintenance & repair costs for my cutter.
I do my best to post photographs that realistically represent the colors in my hand-dyed wools.  Some, but not all of the “photo samples of rugs” displayed here are projects hooked by me & they are shown merely to demonstrate how my wool can be used in a rug project.
    I
    do not
copy, re-design, trace, sell or profit from any of these rugs or patterns (that are not mine) in anyway!!
Please understand that computer monitors vary and the color representation you see may differ slightly from the original.  In most cases, the colors in your wool will be much more pleasing in person than what you see in the photo.  I guarantee 100% satisfaction.
My wool comes from a smoke free home!
Be sure to sign-up for my Mailchimp Newsletter; link to my sign-up form is included on the flyer in your order package!
I’m always adding new inventory, and new hand-dyed wool colors that rotate with the seasons!
    **NOTE:
if you're at all displeased with your order,
    please don't leave negative feedback
    without contacting me
    first
!  I'd appreciate you contacting me through eBay's messaging so I can help make things right.
I will offer a refund (less the cost of shipping) on all returns and with "wool specifically" as long as the wool has not already been cut; it must be returned in the same, whole piece condition it was shipped!
Thanks for your interest in my hand-dyed wool & your valued business!
