*I had FUN creating this Orange color palette with many possibilities!
Of course the obvious intended use was brought about from several
requests I received for a color combo made up of “different shades” of Orange
to use specifically for Orange Pumpkins!
I paid special attention to include
a couple of Oranges that had some threads of (green) running through
them just like some of our REAL Orange Pumpkins have & in their Stems too!
This combo would be perfect for use in a Hallowe’en Rug or Wool Applique
piece & could also be (added to) other beautiful FALL colors & textures
for a “nice range” of values & shades for a rich Autumn Landscape
Rug, or for Fall Flowers & even whimsical Birds as well!*

If you (fussy cut) the
top piece in this combo
with the Orange & Green Stripes
to
separate the stripes by color, the (Green Stripe area) would make perfect Stems
for your Pumpkins & the (Orange Stripe area) would add some wonderful texture
to the Outlines & Ribs of your Pumpkins!
Also ~ the

th
piece from the top in
this combo
is (reversible) and BOTH SIDES would make FUN Pumpkins, one
a more traditional shade & the other a unique Golden-Yellow-Orange
Pumpkin or even FUN for a variety of whimsical Fall Flowers
or Birds

You're purchasing 100% mill-dyed wool that I have already pre-washed & lofted in my Kookaburra

and is ready for you to use

The wool is from some of the finest overseas suppliers in the wool mill industry.
These wools are suitable for primitive rug hooking and wool appliqué work.
You will have 4
to
8 pieces (sometimes more) of "complementary textures"
measuring approximately
(6-1/2" x 16")
in each
Prim Color Bundle.
Each 4-piece bundle totals
4/16 yard (
or the same as a
Fat 1/4 yard);
Each 5-piece bundle totals
5/16 yard;
Each 6-piece bundle totals
6/16 yard
(or the same as 3/8 yard)

On rare occasions I will offer larger Bundle Pack Collections which will be priced accordingly!
TEXTURES ADD additional depth & interest to any wool project.
They are often used for “outlining” in Primitive rugs!
I purchase only the finest 100% Textured wools that will complement my own hand-dyed woolens.
The textures will range from nice multi-color threaded plaids, windowpane plaids, hounds-tooth checks, herringbone chevron textures, cat-eye patterns, honeycomb patterns, etc.
Many of these same “as-is” textures are used in my over-dyeing process as well.
They are pre-washed and fully felted and ready to use in your rug hooking or wool appliqué projects.
You can use either side of these wools!
For rug hooking, it is most often recommended that you use a “wider cut” with a texture
as many (not all) can have a looser weave and may be a little more challenging to work with.
If using “looser woven” wool for appliqué work
, you may want to iron your wool to a
thin adhesive
such as
Heat ‘N Bond {Feather Lite}
which will cut down on fraying along the edges of your wool.
*NOTE:
I do “combine shipping” for items paid for

What this means is that
(1) Fat 1/4 yard wool item will ship 1

anywhere in the US for .15

anywhere in Canada for .25;

to rug hooking and have
no other
resources available, I’d be happy to cut your wool into strips on your FIRST ORDER, a
maximum
of (4 bundles or 1 yard equivalent).
However, I would be most appreciative if you would seek out your local resources for cutting (i.e. ~ friend, neighbor, guild or shop) and
use me as your last resort
so I may have the time to dye more wonderful shades of wool for your future projects!
I can cut your wool into #6 (6/32”), #8 (1/4”), or #9 (3/8”) cut strips.

Please understand that computer monitors vary and the color representation you see may differ slightly from the original.
In most cases, the colors in your wool will be much more pleasing in person than what you see in the photo.
