    Description

    This is an original Branch Insignia for Army Air Corps Officers from the 1920s. It was used on the summer cotton khaki coat.
    It is embroidered with yellow gold wings and white propeller on khaki.
    This example also has an embroidered U.S. in yellow gold above the AAC wings and propeller.
    It measures 2 3/8 inches square.  This insignia was replaced by metal insignia in the 1930s.
    It is in excellent unissued condition.
